Looking for Sergio and John

The walk today was shorter and coming into the town of Cirinuela we pasted a golf course. It turned out to be the only place you could some refreshments. I was hoping to see Spanish golfers Sergio Garcia or John Rahm on the course, but as it turned out, nobody was practicing. In another golf related insight, I took a couple of pictures of how they transport water through concrete culverts. As I walked up to see the water, I realized the water was running the opposite way I thought. Now I know why no one wants me to read putts on the golf course. Yesterday had been such a long walk, the shorter walk today was appreciated. I started the morning by thanking God for all the blessings in my life. I continue to be amazed at how fortunate my journey through life has been. The beauty of each horizon reminds me of my good fortune. A medieval marker along the route pointed out the journey. I have seen a couple of these along the way. The small town of Azofra had the church at top of the hill with a birds nest on top. The Abby around the corner was where previous pilgrims had stay. It felt like the village was frozen in time. When we got to our destination in Santo Domingo de la Calzada I found a beautiful cathedral with a bell tower that was the highest point in the region. I decided to hike to the top and was rewarded with with magnificent views. It was a wonderful day. Buen Camino

Finally, is this your picture of Jesus as a boy?
